Millie decided she didn’t want to wait any longer and blessed us with 9 beautiful healthy pups born on January 2nd.
Breeding between Odyssey Kennels Quick Pitch(Cy) and Worthings Gun Dogs Millie.
This just might be our best one to yet. After a year of consideration and hard decisions we chose Cy to stud to our Millie. We wanted to bring back the roots of big noses and drive to our Millie’s pups with an outstanding breeding between these too.
Cy has proved himself in the dog world. In the ring and in the field time and time again living up to the name of his father “ DC ODYSSEY'S
PERFECTION MH, grandfather DC AFC GSPCA BISS HOF SAM SAINT MAX MH VCX, and the rest of his strong linage. Cy actively hunts wild birds in the Dakotas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Missouri cover his ground methodically and smooth. And on top of all of that he has to be one of the sweetest most laid back GSP I have even been around.
Our Millie came to us when she was 8 weeks old and had a drive for birds from the start. As she got older her drive has shot through the roof. She has turned into an amazing family and hunting dog with a nose that will let her run big on wide open Prairies in the Midwest and also the brains to stay close in thick heavy cover on the East Coast. And when I say you won’t find a better dog with an off switch in and around the house you won’t as she is a total couch potato in the house. Millie’s last litter produced absolute amazing pups that had drive, instinct, natural retireve, and style from the very start. Our very own Worthing’s GunDogs Clowns Loose End “Cash” is one of those pups.
With this cross between these two absolutely extraordinary German shorthair pointers we expect these pups to be superior in the field to most other GSP breedings you will see.
